Overview

Curled up in the aesthetic natural bounties of the Himalayan foothills, Bir is a small village, also known as the “paragliding capital of India”. A hidden gem, synonymous to tranquility and serenity, it has something to offer for everyone. The sunsets in Bir are truly nature’s own canvases, blazing the evening sky with brilliant pinks, oranges, and purple. Words can never do justice to the beauty of the Bir sunset skies.

Well this is just the beginning of our women only trip to Bir. Emerging as an ecotourism destination, Bir has become home to many Tibetan tribes who settled here after the uprisings in the late 80s. The intermingled Himachali and Tibetan culture offers a mosaic of lifestyles in this tiny village. Among all the cultural tapestry, one can also explore the varied cuisines and savouries that the charming cafes in Bir has to offer. You can just relax and sip some hot chocolate and enjoy the mouth watering organic desserts with the Himalayan range towering in the backdrop.

If that was not enough, soar into the New Year among the snow cladded mountains, high on adrenaline with our Paragliding adventures.     Bir Hug

    Overnight journey to Bir starting from Delhi.

    Morning Arrival (Around 8 AM): Bir Welcomes You!

    Breakfast at the Hotel – Fuel up for the day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Freshly brewed coffee, yummy Sandwiches, or a hearty Indian breakfast – make your pick.

    Freshen Up: Unpack & Revive- After a hearty breakfast, check into your hotel and freshen up. Get ready for a day of exploration!

    Sherabling Monastery: A Spiritual Afternoon

    Head towards the tranquil Sherabling Monastery, surrounded by lush greenery and set against the backdrop of the Himalayas. Explore the serene grounds, spin the prayer wheels, and bask in the peaceful ambiance.

    Get back to Bir Main Market for lunch and then we rest at the green meadow and experience The Magical Bir Sunset.

    Cafe Hopping: A Culinary Adventure. As the sun sets, it’s time to embark on a cafe-hopping adventure in Bir Village. Try local and international delights at various cafes. Sip on exotic teas, sample artisanal coffee, and indulge in mouthwatering pastries. Chat with fellow travelers, listen to some live music, and soak in the bohemian vibes of the village.

    After cafe hopping, return to your hotel for a cozy night’s sleep. You’ll need the rest for tomorrow’s high-flying adventure.

  • Flying High into 2024

    Rise and shine because today is the day you’ll take to the skies! Enjoy a light breakfast to fuel up.

    Buckle up (literally) as you head to the Billing Paragliding Takeoff Point, ready to soar like a bird with your tandem paragliding experience.

    After landing safely back on Earth, head back to Bir.

    Visit the serene Bir Monastery and the mystical Chokling Monastery. It’s a chance to find your zen amidst the Himalayan landscape.

    NYE Extravaganza

    The sun sets on 2023, but the fun is just beginning. It’s New Year’s Eve!

    We have a fun bonfire night under the starry nights planned for the New Year Party!

    Get your booze ready because we’ll dance together into 2024.

  • Bir Goodbye- Hello 2024

    It’s the first day of 2024, so go ahead and sleep in a bit. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your comfy abode.

    Afternoon: Last-Minute Adventures Don’t rush your exit. Take your time exploring more of Bir’s hidden gems – we will be hiking to a hidden water stream- click pictures- relax in the winter sun listening to the sound of water flowing.

    If you’re into handicrafts and Tibetan culture, the Bir Tibetan Colony is a must-visit.

    Sadly, it’s time to pack your bags and check out from your Bir hideout by noon.

    Reflect on your unforgettable Bir experience as you head back to reality.

    Board the Volvo bus at 6 in the evening for an overnight journey back to Delhi.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • Booking amount & Tickets: (Non Refundable)
  • 60 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost will be deducted
  • 45 days prior to arrival: 70% of the Tour / service cost will be deducted
  • 30 days prior to arrival: No Refund
