The widely popular phrase, is definitely true in its every sense. A trip to the Rann of
Kutch during the Rann Utsav is a must have in every travellers bucket list. There is
no place where so much culture, colour and celebration come together to create a
mosaic of such exquisiteness.

Spread across nature’s rare wonder, ‘the White Desert’ Rann Utsav provides with an
unique opportunity to the visitors to delve into Gujarat’s arts, crafts, culture, traditions and people in their most authentic style. All the women solo trips to Gujarat always include this in their itinerary.

Held from November to February, this festival is an extravaganza brimming with
hospitality, vigour and traditional flavour. While an array of folk music and dance
performances organized in the shimmering moonlit landscape provides the most
enchanting experience, the colorful fairs held near the beach or the banks of a lake
swings one with the spirit of festivity, fervour and flamboyance.

So join us on our only female trip to Kutch and witness the flavours of Gujarati
culture unfold like never before at the spectacular Rann of Kutch Festival.

Itinerary

  • Arrival in Ahmedabad

    Leisure Day

    Upon arriving at Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station, you will be picked up and escorted to the hotel by our local tour representative via private transfer. After check-in formalities, you will have the entire day to explore the city of Ahemdabad in its winter glory by your own and bring out the solo traveller in you. At night, come back to the hotel and get a good night’s sleep for the picturesque road trip the next day.

  • Transfer and sightseeing

    Approx Distance: 350 Km • Est. Travel Time: 7 hours

    After Breakfast get ready to drive through the geographical marvel of the White Desert to Bhuj. This 7 hour long road journey will be a spectacular visual of Gujarat’s colourful culture and enjoy the different delicacies of Gujarat on the way. Post arrival visit places like Aina Mahal Museum, Paragmahal Museum, Swaminarayan temple, Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Exhibition & Cenotaphs of Royal Family for a day filled with history and culture of the state. Spend the night at the hotel and get a good night’s rest.

  • Utsav Day 1

    Arrive at Rann Utsav – Tent City at Dhordo from Bhuj

    Welcome and check–in from 12:30 PM to 02:30 PM. Savour the delicious Gujarati cuisine for lunch and proceed to indulge yourself in the exciting range of activities offered in the tent city.

    After a short tea break, visit The White Rann to witness the grandeur of the sunset. Enjoy the beauty of the white desert and the enjoy it in its all glory. Come back and enjoy a scrumptious dinner.

  • Local Sightseeing

    Start your day with rejuvenating yoga session at our dedicated activity Area. Move to explore the White Rann to witness the grandeur of the sunrise and feel the freshness take over you. Post breakfast indulge yourself in the exciting range of activities. Come back and enjoy delicious lunch. Post lunch move on for the Tour to Kala Dungar (Black Hill) – the highest point of Kutch. On the route visit to handicraft village “Gandhi nu Gaam”. Come back to enjoy delicious dinner and enjoy the culture of Kutch along with entertaining activities.

  • Roadtrip

    Experience a rejuvenating yoga session and get ready to drive to Ahmedabad and Drop at Airport or railway station. Say goodbye to the wonderful flamboyance of the Rann of Kutch with bag full of memories.

  • Drop to Airport

    Post breakfast at the hotel, get ready to be dropped at Airport for your onward journey as we leave with a heart full of memories.

Additional Information

  • Gujrat is a dry state, bringing alcohol through flight will be illegal. Although, you can get a license and buy alcohol at the Ahmedabad airport after landing.
  • All meals will be Pure Vegetarian
  • Day 1 of the itinerary is a free day for you to explore the city. We can give suggestions as to where to go for sightseeing as per your interests

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • Booking amount & Tickets: (Non Refundable)
  • 60 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost will be deducted
  • 45 days prior to arrival: 70% of the Tour / service cost will be deducted
  • 30 days prior to arrival: No Refund
