  • Shimla To Kotgarh

    Shimla- Kufri - Tani Jubber Lake in Kotgarh – Thanadar

    Arrival in Shimla (9:00am)
    The group arrives in Shimla and leaves for Kotgarh by 9:00am. Our transportation service will pick you and our journey to Spiti begins. We will stop for breakfast and fresh -n- up on the way. You may relish the morning mountain views from Shimla, Kufri and Narkanda on the way. We rest for a while, post check-in and later go visit the Tani Jubbar Lake and enjoy the serenity of this hidden forest lake. We may have lunch here. The evening is followed by a visit to the apple orchard and bonfire at the cottage. Overview Kotgarh became a British territory after the Gurkhas were defeated by the British and Imported from the Stark Apple Nursery of Louisiana, USA, Sh Satyananda Stokes planted the first commercial apple farm of  Himachal here.

  • Rampur – Pawari - Pooh - Khab - Nako

    Today, from the Shimla district, we venture into Kinnaur district of Himachal. Passing through Rampur – (the trade hub on ancient Silk Route) soon we enter into Kinnaur Valley. Transition in terrain from dense green deodar forests to Satluj Basin and Rocky hills surrounded by snowclad mountains cannot go unnoticed. We will visit the Nako Monastery (over 1,000 years old) and enjoy the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the beautiful highaltitude sacred Nako Lake.

  • Sumdo - Gue – Tabo – Dhankar

    From Kinnaur, today we drive into Spiti region of Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal. Spiti is known for its rugged and stunning landscapes, ancient monasteries, and rich cultural heritage. Experiencing the native hospitality of Spiti, we will stay in a homestay facility in Dhankar tonight. Enroute, we visit: –
    Gue: Here we shall visit a well-preserved 500-year-old mummy of Lama Sangha Tenzing. Tabo: A small village in Spiti Valley. It is known for its ancient and well-preserved Tabo Monastery, which is one of the oldest continuously functioning Buddhist monasteries in the world. The monastery is a UNESCO World Heritage Site
    Dhankar – Seat of a King (old capital of Spiti in 17th century). We shall visit the Dhankar Monastery which
    hangs on a cliff and overlooks the confluence of Spiti River and Pin River. The monastery is known for its beautiful murals, thangkas, and other works of art, as well as its ancient scriptures and texts.

    In addition to the monastery, Dhankar is also known for
    its stunning natural beauty, with Rocky Mountains and deep valleys. Visitors can go hiking or trekking in the surrounding mountains, or simply enjoy the peaceful and serene atmosphere of this remote Himalayan village.

  • Dhankar to Kaza via Pin Valley

    Dhankar to Kaza via Pin Valley & Mud Village
    On the way to Kaza, we take a left at Attargoo bridge and traverse road through Pin Valley villages, starting from Gulling, Sagnam, Tailing and Mud Village. Around 10 Km form Attargoo, we may also visit Kungri monastery.

    Established in 1987 – Pin valley national park is nestled with Himalayan birds n medicinal plants in summer. Mud is the last Village of Pin Valley. Mud village is starting and ending of famous treks like Pin Bhaba & Pin Parvati

    meters. It is famous the highest Post office in the world.
    ▪ Komic: 4,587 meters. The highest road connected village in the world
    ▪ Langza Village is a small village located at an altitude of 4400 meters. It is famous for its ancient Buddha statue.

    Tour Spiti villages around Kaza Today we visit the other side of Kaza to enjoy the panoramic views of and stunning natural beauty of the region. In the evening we will leave for Losar.

    Key Monastery: an ancient Buddhist monastery that is perched on a hill overlooking the Spiti River. The
    monastery is over 1,000 years old and is known for its beautiful murals, thangkas, and other works of art, as
    well as its ancient scriptures and texts

    ▪ Kibber Village: it’s a beautiful village located at an altitude of 4270 meters. It is known for its stunning natural beauty, and traditional houses made of mud and stones.
    ▪ Chicham Bridge: Asia’s highest bridge at a hight of 13598 ft
    ▪ Gette Village: The highest polling booth in the world.

  • Sissu 3120m (10,236 ft)

    Spiti Valley to Lahaul Valley- Sissu Tso Chigma or Chandrataal (is a crescent shaped moon lake at 4250m) The journey from Losar to Chandrataal is around 55 kilometers, takes about 2-3 hours and From Chandrataal, the distance to Sissu is around 95 kilometers, takes about 4-5 hours depending on road conditions. We will be crossing Kunzum La Pass, 4551m and it connects Spiti Valley with Lahaul valley eventually connecting Manali – Leh route and reach Sissu (Tourist village on the bank of River Chandra).

    The route from Losar to Sissu via Chandrataal is a popular road trip among tourists, as it offers stunning views of the Himalayan landscapes and the crystal-clear waters of the Chandrataal Lake. Road between Kunzum la Pass and Gramphu (50 kms stretch) is a no man’s land with no habitation, no cellphone signals and road passing through riverbeds and water streams.

  • Departure

    Sissu to Manali and Local excursion Waking up to a magnificent view, post breakfast we visit the Palam Dhara water fall and Sissu lake. Later we cross the 8.8km Atal tunnel and reach Manali.

    We shall visit the Mata Hadimba temple, explore the Old Manali and main Manali bazars. Evening we shall drop you to the bus stand for your journey home (7:00 pm). Please exchange all your photographs and remember your last few days with a smile on your face.

    Book your return Volvo only after 7:00pm.

In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • 60 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost
  • 45 days prior to arrival: 70% of the Tour / service cost
  • 30 days prior to arrival: No Refund
