Overview
Kenya Big Five & Great Migration Safari — A Women-Only African Experience
Kenya is not just a destination — it is a feeling of being small in front of something ancient, powerful, and alive.
And the Maasai Mara is where that feeling becomes unforgettable.
This iconic African wilderness is home to the legendary Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo — along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and over a million wildebeest that move together across the plains during the Great Migration, one of the greatest wildlife events on Earth.
For a solo woman traveller, experiencing Africa for the first time can feel both exciting and intimidating. That is why Jugni offers this journey as a women-only safari group — so you can explore this extraordinary land with complete confidence, emotional safety, and the comfort of travelling with a like-minded circle of women.
Here, the savannah stretches endlessly — golden grasslands, winding rivers, open skies, and wildlife roaming freely without fences. Every safari drive feels like stepping inside a documentary: a lioness tracking her prey, elephants crossing the plains in silence, or thousands of wildebeest moving together in a breathtaking natural rhythm.
But Maasai Mara is not only about animals. It is also about culture and connection. You will meet the Maasai people, learn about their traditions, and witness how human life and wildlife have coexisted here for generations — something that deeply touches many women who seek travel with meaning, not just sightseeing.
This is not a rushed tourist safari.
This is a slow, intentional, deeply immersive women’s journey into Africa.
It is designed especially for:
-
Solo women travellers
-
Women travelling to Africa for the first time
-
Women who want a safe, small-group safari
-
Women who want adventure without giving up comfort or care
From sunrise game drives to quiet evenings under star-filled African skies, this Kenya journey gives you something rare:
the courage of adventure with the warmth of companionship.
And long after the animals fade into memory, what stays is how Africa made you feel — stronger, freer, and more alive.

- Our travellers often journey alone, although some come with female friends. Our accommodations are based on double occupancy unless otherwise requested, and we assign roommates at random to help solo travellers start forming connections from the beginning.
- Are visa fees and flights inclusive?
- Due to the diverse origins of our travellers, it is not feasible for us to include flights and visas. Nevertheless, we offer complete assistance with flight bookings and visa forms at no additional cost. For your understanding, all the rest of the inclusions and exclusions are mentioned explicitly in the itinerary.
- What type of accommodations can we expect to stay in?
- We put a lot of effort into handpicking our accommodations, either conveniently located 4-star hotels or cosy boutique stays. In more rural or remote areas, we love arranging authentic regional homestays to immerse you in the local experience. Just remember that some amenities may not be available at these homestays because of their remote locations.
- Can we arrange a single occupancy room?
- As a standard practice, we provide twin-sharing accommodation, allowing solo travellers to connect with the group. However, we can arrange for single occupancy upon special request and an additional charge.
