    Take a walking tour of Old Tbilisi

    Tbilisi is a blend of Asian mystical world and European charm. Located in the gorge of Mtkvari River it’s shaped out in accordance with the terrain and forms a very beautiful city with Mt. Mtatsminda embracing the entire town, Narikala Fortress topping up the oldest quarter of Tbilisi – Kala and Metekhi Church overlooking Mtkvari River from a rocky plateau.

    In this classic tour of Tbilisi, you’ll see the highlights of the Old Town with beautiful Orthodox Christian Churches, Mosque, Synagogue, famous and refreshing Sulphur Baths, narrow cobbled streets with hanging wooden carved multi-colored balconies and the 19th century houses following the architectural styles of the 19th century Europe, Narikala Fortress (cable car, 2 ways), the glass Bridge of Peace, Freedom Square and Rustaveli Avenue.

    Finish your tour on Rustaveli Avenue and transfer to a hotel.

  • Tbilisi/ Bodbe/ Sighnaghi/ Sagarejo/ Tbilisi

    In the morning depart to explore Kakheti province – the kingdom of endless vineyards, picturesque mountains and ancient traditions. The place of the most delicious Georgian wines and ancient monasteries.

    First, we visit Bodbe Nunnery, the revered final resting place of St. Nino of Cappadocia, is set among tall cypresses.

    Continue to Sighnaghi – a colorful hilltop discovery. It is known as the city of love. Sighnaghi is an 18-19th century fortified town facing the snowcapped Caucasus looming in the distance across the vast Alazani valley. On our way back to Tbilisi visit a local winery to learn more about Georgian wine-making and taste home-made wines.

  • Tbilisi/Mtskheta/Gori/Uplistsikhe/Tbilisi

    Meet your guide and driver in the morning and take a tour to the ancient capital and spiritual center of Georgia – Mtskheta with its historical sites: the Church of Jvari (6th century) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century). Jvari and Svetitskhoveli are World Heritage Sites of UNESCO. And according to the legend it is believed Svetitskhoveli houses the Robe of Christ.

    Mtskheta is the town where St. Nino – a 14-year old Cappadocian maiden preached Christianity as early as 4th century AD and converted Georgia officially to Christinity in 337 AD making Georgia the third official Christian country in the world.

    Today we visit Gori – the town where Georgia’s infamous son J. Stalin was born. We visit the original house where he was born and leaving this still communist-looking town we delve deep to Georgia’s ancient history by visiting the ancient cave city Uplistsikhe. Uplistsikhe is one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia, which used to host the old caravans transporting goods from Asia to Europe as it was on the Great Silk Road route. Return to Tbilisi.

  • Tbilisi/Gori/Uplistsikhe/Tbilisi

    Explore the Military Highway to visit Ananuri fortified church and the ski resort Gudauri. We continue over the Cross Pass to the picturesque Great Caucasus Mountains all the way to Kazbegi. En route we’ll stop at the Friendship Memorial at the colorful slopes of iron water. Once in Kazbegi we get o 4WD vehicles to discover the 14th century church of Gergeti overlooking Kazbegi settlement from 2170m and also if weather permits see one of the highest peaks of Georgia Mt. Kazbegi (5052m). After the tour return to Tbilisi.

    Breakfast at hotel. Day is free at your leisure. Transfer to the airport and fly back to your respective city.

  • Due to the diverse origins of our travellers, it is not feasible for us to include flights and visas. Nevertheless, we offer complete assistance with flight bookings and visa forms at no additional cost. For your understanding, all the rest of the inclusions and exclusions are mentioned explicitly in the itinerary.
  • What type of accommodations can we expect to stay in?
  • We put a lot of effort into handpicking our accommodations, either conveniently located 4-star hotels or cosy boutique stays. In more rural or remote areas, we love arranging authentic regional homestays to immerse you in the local experience. Just remember that some amenities may not be available at these homestays because of their remote locations.
  • Can we arrange a single occupancy room?
  • As a standard practice, we provide twin-sharing accommodation, allowing solo travellers to connect with the group. However, we can arrange for single occupancy upon special request and an additional charge.
  • Is it okay if I bring my child with me?
  • We welcome children over 12 years on our trips, and their trip cost equals that of adult travellers. The final decision is made after careful consideration, including location and trip type.

In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • Booking amount & Tickets: (Non Refundable)
  • 60 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost will be deducted
  • 45 days prior to arrival: 70% of the Tour / service cost will be deducted
  • 30 days prior to arrival: No Refund
