• What are female only travel groups by Jugni?
• Jugni is a women only travelling company based in India. We started the journey of exploring with solo female travellers in 2014. We discovered that there are adventurous women who want to travel across the globe. We organise trips for women in India and abroad.
• What are solo travel groups?
• Solo travel groups are organised groups of solo travellers who want to explore a place among the company of fellow travellers. Solo travel groups provide you with a safety net and allow you to be free of planning the itinerary and figuring out the stays.
• What is the general group size?
• Our general group size is 12-14. We like to keep our groups small, allowing us to cater to everyone’s needs and offer a personalised services to all our solo women travellers. There are a few destinations that we have been travelling for many years and have know the place inside out. For such places, our group size might be 18-20 travellers.
• Is there any age bar?
• We do not have any age bar. If you are an adult and want to join us on our explorations, you can be part of our Jugni family. We have seen 22 year old gel up with 60 year olds, it just your spirit that matters.
• I have never travelled solo and feeling a little anxious about it, will I be able to do it?
• Most of our travellers are first time solo female travellers. It is completely natural to feel a little anxious before the trip but we can assure you that this will be an experience of your lifetime where you will make friendships for life.
• How do we ensure safety and security for our solo women travellers?
• We understand how important safety is for female travellers, hence we take every measure to ensure our trips offer a safe and secure environment for every adventure you take on. We do personal background check of every agent involved and hand pick each hotel by personally visiting them.
• How are the group dynamics on trips?
• Most of our travellers travel solo, while some do join us with their female friends. We understand every traveller is unique but we also believe that forming bonds in a group becomes easier when you are going through an experience together. Our accommodations are on twin sharing basis, unless specifically requested, which we allot randomly. This allow solo travellers to form bonds from the start.
• Is Visa fee and flights are inclusive?
• Since we have travellers joining us from different parts of the country and abroad, including flights and visa is not possible. But we do provide end to end assistance in flight bookings and also help with filling of visa forms without any extra cost.
• What kind of accommodations do we stay at?
• Our accommodations are selected after thorough research by our team. Most of the properties are 4-star hotels or boutique stays. These hotels also become an experience at the location. We try and select the best properties for our solo female travellers in the area. In the rural and remote areas, we try to book authentic regional homestays, which add to the experience of the location. In these homestays, due their remote locations, some things might be unavailable.
• What if I want to cancel my trip?
• In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows: - Booking amount & Tickets: (Non Refundable) - 60 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost will be deducted - 45 days prior to arrival: 70% of the Tour / service cost will be deducted - 30 days prior to arrival: No Refund
• Is single occupancy room available?
• Our standard practice is a twin sharing accommodation, which allows solo travellers to gel in the group. Although upon special request and an extra charge we can arrange for single occupancy as well.
• Can I bring my child along?
• We do allow children above the age of 12 on our trips and their trip cost is same as the traveller’s. Each case is different and the final decision is taken after considering all factors of the location and the kind of trip.
• Can I trust Jugni as a women only travel company?

To establish trust we disclose everything to our travellers before the trip and no hidden costs are later levied.
