Overview

NORWAY · MARCH 09 2027
Chasing the Northern Lights
Across Norway
If you think the sky has only one colour, Norway is about to change your perception. Turns out, we really shouldn’t judge anyone — not even the sky.
March gives you Norway between two seasons — snow-covered landscapes, longer days, crisp Arctic air and nights that can still light up with the Aurora.
Norway in a Nutshell — Jugni’s signature route.

What You Will Actually Experience
🚂
The Flåm Railway:
One of the steepest train journeys in the world.
⛵
Silent Fjords:
A boat crossing so quiet you can hear the water.
✨
Tromsø & the Northern Lights:
Into Arctic Norway, where our eyes turn to the night sky.

Why March?
March gives us a beautiful balance — longer daylight, snowy landscapes and winter still holding on in the Arctic. And when we reach Tromsø, the nights are still dark enough for us to go chasing the Northern Lights.
Nitesh’s Take on Norway
“We chase the Northern Lights like hunters — high energy, eyes on the sky, willing the clouds to move. And then she appears. Aurora. Dancing. And the entire group goes silent.”
— Nitesh Chauhan

Itinerary

  • ARRIVAL - REST

Arrive in Oslo. Breathe. You're here.

Land in Oslo, complete immigration and make your way to our centrally located hotel. Check in, drop the bags and officially say hello to Norway. 🇳🇴

    ✨ TODAY’S MOOD

Land. Layer up. We’re in Norway. 🇳🇴

No rushing into sightseeing today. After the international journey, this day is deliberately kept easy — settle in, freshen up and get comfortable with the city around you.

If you still have energy, step outside for a slow walk, find your first Norwegian coffee, explore the neighbourhood or simply watch Oslo go by. And if your bed is making a stronger argument — listen to it. Tomorrow, we start walking. 😄

    🛏️ TONIGHT’S STAY

    Radisson Blu

    — Oslo

    💡 WHY TODAY IS EASY

Because arriving somewhere shouldn’t immediately become a race to see it.
We keep the first day deliberately light so you can recover from the flight, adjust to the weather and start Norway properly rested rather than ticking attractions while half asleep.
Tomorrow, Oslo gets our full attention.

  • Oslo on Foot — The City Reveals Herself

Today we step out and properly meet Oslo. We begin with a relaxed guided walking tour through the heart of the Norwegian capital — not rushing from monument to monument, but exploring the city the way it is best experienced: on foot.

    ✨ TODAY’S MOOD

Walk. Wander. Stop for coffee. Repeat. ☕

Our walk takes us through some of Oslo’s best-known sights including the Oslo Opera House, Karl Johans Gate, the Royal Palace and Aker Brygge — with plenty of time to look around, take photographs and actually enjoy where we are.

    📍 TODAY’S OSLO

Oslo Opera House — walk around one of the city’s most recognisable modern landmarks.
Karl Johans Gate — Oslo’s main street and the city’s everyday pulse.
Royal Palace — one of the essential Oslo stops.
Aker Brygge — waterfront, cafés, restaurants and harbour views.

Once the walking tour ends, the rest of the day is yours. Stay around the waterfront, go shopping, find a cosy café or simply keep wandering. Oslo is compact enough that getting slightly lost is often part of the fun.

    🚢 FEEL LIKE DOING MORE?

Those who want to add a little more Norway to the day can opt for an Oslo Fjord cruise in the evening.
Optional activity and payable directly unless specifically mentioned in the inclusions.

    💡 THE JUGNI WAY

This is a Footloose day. Comfortable shoes on, Google Maps handy and no bus following us around from one photo stop to another.
Tomorrow, we leave the city behind. The Norway you came looking for begins. 🚂

  • The Train Ride That Changes Everything

Today, Oslo disappears behind us and the Norway we have been waiting for begins. We board the train towards Myrdal, watching cities give way to valleys, mountains and increasingly dramatic landscapes.

    🚂 TODAY’S MOOD

Window seat. Mountains. Phone storage about to suffer.

At Myrdal, we change trains and board the legendary Flåm Railway. The journey descends through spectacular mountain scenery towards tiny Flåm, sitting at the end of the Aurlandsfjord.

    📍 TODAY’S JOURNEY

Oslo → Myrdal — scenic rail journey across Norway.
Myrdal → Flåm — the famous Flåm Railway.
Flåm — our little fjord village for the next two nights.

    💡 JUGNI NOTE

Don’t treat today simply as a transfer day. The journey itself is one of the experiences we came to Norway for.
Tomorrow, we stop looking at the fjord from the shore. We sail through it.

  • The Nærøyfjord — Norway's Greatest Gift

Today we sail into one of Norway’s most extraordinary landscapes — the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord.

    ⛵ TODAY’S MOOD

Mountains on both sides. Water underneath. Silence everywhere.

Our fjord cruise takes us through narrow waterways surrounded by towering mountains, waterfalls and tiny settlements tucked into the landscape. This is Norway without needing a filter.

    📍 TODAY’S JOURNEY

Flåm — begin our fjord journey.
Nærøyfjord — cruise through the UNESCO-listed landscape.
Gudvangen — time to pause before returning to Flåm.

    💡 ONE REQUEST FROM JUGNI

Take the photographs. Make the videos. And then, for five minutes, put the phone away.
Your eyes still have better resolution.

  • Into Bergen — Norway's City by the Sea

After two nights surrounded by fjords and mountains, today we say goodbye to Flåm and continue towards Bergen — Norway’s colourful city by the sea.

    ✨ TODAY’S MOOD

One fjord village behind us. One colourful harbour ahead.

Once we arrive in Bergen, check in and settle down. The evening is deliberately easy — perfect for stepping out towards Bryggen, finding dinner and getting your first feel of the city.

    🏘️ HELLO, BERGEN

Colourful wooden houses, harbour views, narrow lanes and mountains wrapped around the city. Bergen doesn’t need a grand introduction — you’ll understand it once you start walking.

  • Bergen from Above and Below

Today we properly explore Bergen — first from above, then at street level.

    🚡 TODAY’S MOOD

Go up. Look down. Come back. Wander.

We ride the Fløibanen funicular up Mount Fløyen for panoramic views over Bergen, its harbour, surrounding mountains and islands.

    📍 TODAY’S BERGEN

Fløibanen — ride up Mount Fløyen.
    Bryggen — Bergen’s historic waterfront.
Fish Market & Harbour — wander through the city’s waterfront life.
    Afternoon — completely yours.

    💡 JUGNI NOTE

Bergen rewards people who wander without a checklist. So once we’re done together, we’re done together. The rest of the day belongs to you.

  • Above the Arctic Circle. The Sky is Waiting.

Today we leave Bergen and fly north to Tromsø. And not just a little north — we are heading above the Arctic Circle.

    🌌 TODAY’S MOOD

Fly north. Layer up. Tonight, we look at the sky.

After arriving in Tromsø, we check in and get ready for the experience that has been waiting at the end of this Norwegian journey.

✨ TONIGHT: THE NORTHERN LIGHTS CHASE

Once darkness falls, we head away from the city lights and go looking for clear skies, stars and — if nature decides to cooperate — Aurora Borealis.

    💡 ONE IMPORTANT THING

Aurora is nature, not Netflix — we can’t press play.
Northern Lights sightings depend on cloud cover, weather and solar activity. What Jugni includes is the Northern Lights chase experience — nobody on Earth can guarantee what the sky decides to do.

    🛏️ TONIGHT’S STAY

    Scandic Ishavshotel
    — Tromsø

  • The Arctic at Your Own Pace

Our final full day in Norway belongs to the Arctic — and to you. Tromsø is compact, beautiful and surrounded by landscapes that make an ordinary walk feel anything but ordinary.

    ❄️ TODAY’S MOOD

Arctic air. No rush. Your day.

Sleep a little longer after last night’s Aurora chase, walk through Tromsø, find a warm café or choose an Arctic experience. Today is intentionally left open.

    ✨ YOUR ARCTIC OPTIONS

🦌 Sami & Reindeer Experience — meet the reindeer and discover Sami culture.
🚡 Fjellheisen Cable Car — panoramic views over Tromsø and the surrounding Arctic landscape.
🏘️ Tromsø Town — wander through the compact city at your own pace.
☕ Arctic Café Time — warm drink, cold world outside. Also a perfectly good plan.
Optional experiences are payable separately unless specifically mentioned in the inclusions.

    🌌 AND WHAT ABOUT TONIGHT?

If the Northern Lights didn’t appear for us yesterday — or if seeing them once simply wasn’t enough — tonight gives you another opportunity to book a chase.
Because apparently, after travelling all the way to the Arctic, going to bed early becomes surprisingly difficult.

    🛏️ TONIGHT’S STAY

    Scandic Ishavshotel
    — Tromsø

  • FAREWELL · UNTIL NEXT TIME

One last Arctic morning before we check out and begin our journey home.

    ✈️ TODAY’S MOOD

Suitcase heavier. Camera roll ridiculous. Standards for scenery permanently damaged.

Over the last ten days we have walked through Oslo, crossed mountains by train, slept beside the fjords, sailed through Nærøyfjord, wandered around Bergen and travelled all the way above the Arctic Circle to Tromsø.

Now it’s time to head home — preferably with enough space left on the phone for the airport photographs nobody planned to take.

    💛 FROM TEAM JUGNI

Thank you for trusting us with 10 days of your life. We never take that lightly.
    Until the next first. ✨
