Top 5 FAQs About Jugni Travel โ€” Answered with Love & Stories

1. Is it a group trip or a solo trip?

Jugni is a pure solo womenโ€™s travel group. That means women from all over India โ€” who donโ€™t know each other โ€” book a trip and come together as strangersโ€ฆ only to leave as soul sisters.

Over 90% of our travellers come solo, while the rest may be pairs โ€” mother-daughter duos, sisters, best friends, aunt-niece teams. But no matter how you arrive, youโ€™re part of the tribe the moment you say yes.

2. Where are you based? Do you have an office in our city?

We’re proudly based in Delhi, but Jugnis join us from across the country. Our travellers often come from Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai and other metro cities, but some of our most unforgettable stories come from lesser-known places.

Like Kalpana from Hanuman Nagar, Rajasthan, a schoolteacher who joined us for a Himachal trip back in 2018. Or Lata from Warangal, Telangana, a homemaker who had never travelled solo before joining us for Kashmir โ€” and instantly felt at home.

Then thereโ€™s Kalpana Vincent from Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, who travelled to Sri Lanka with usโ€ฆ and never stopped. Sheโ€™s now explored Spain, Kenya, Georgia, Vietnam, Bhutan and more with Jugni. We didnโ€™t even ask her if she was available on some trips โ€” we just said, โ€œYouโ€™re coming,โ€ and she packed her bags.

3. Why donโ€™t you include flights in your packages?

Because our travellers come from different cities, including flights in the package would mean forcing everyone to start from one common city, which adds unnecessary cost and inconvenience for many.

Instead, we help everyone book their own flights from their respective cities, and plan the itinerary in a way that everyone lands around the same time. Itโ€™s smooth, cost-effective, and avoids detours.

Example: On our Bhutan trip, everyone lands in Bagdogra by 11 AM, and we begin the road journey together. For international trips like Spain, we often suggest flying Etihad, so people from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, etc., all converge in Abu Dhabi and take the final leg of the journey together.

4. Why is Jugni more expensive than other travel groups?

Jugni trips focus on quality โ€” in stay, transport, guides, experiences, and safety. We donโ€™t do budget hotels, cramped rooms, or rushed itineraries.

At Jugni, we prioritise comfort and quality across every touchpoint of your journey. You stay at premium 4-star and above propertiesโ€”handpicked for their stunning views, cozy beds, and hot showers. Travel is seamless with safe, spacious, and air-conditioned transport throughout. And our local guides? Theyโ€™re not just experienced, theyโ€™re chosen for their warmth, cultural insight, and ability to make solo women feel right at home.

5. What can I expect if I book a trip with Jugni?

Expect a safe, non-judgmental space where you can just be. Real friendships born over bus rides, bonfires, and belly laughs. A tribe of women who were once strangers โ€” now rooting for you. Wake-up calls to sunrises, stargazing nights, soulful stories, and yes โ€” a few happy tears.

Youโ€™ll return home changed, in the best way possible.
